Dear Friend,

Have you ever wondered if there’s more to life than what you can see, touch, or experience in the moment? Maybe you’ve asked yourself, Why am I here? What happens after life? Or perhaps you’ve struggled with guilt, shame, or the weight of past mistakes. If you’ve ever felt like something is missing or that there’s got to be more, I want to share something with you that could change everything.

At its core, the gospel is the "good news" — and it’s not just any news. It’s the story of a love so profound, so unconditional, that it’s hard to believe. It’s the story of Jesus Christ, who took upon Himself the punishment for our wrongdoings, though He never sinned. And because of His sacrifice, if we simply believe and place our trust in Him (Romans 3:22), we are set free and promised eternal life.

Does that sound too good to be true? It might. But let’s break it down:

Everybody Has Sinned

You may not think of yourself as a “bad person,” but the truth is, we’ve all made mistakes. Romans 3:23 makes it clear: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” You might say, "But I’m a good person" — and that’s great. But God is not just “good” by human standards. He is perfect, and for us to have a relationship with a perfect God, we need to be made perfect as well.

“But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.”

— Isaiah 59:2

Can I Be Made Perfect?

In the past, people tried to make things right by following rules and sacrifices, hoping it would cover their sin. But it became exhausting and impossible. No matter how hard we try, we can't achieve perfection on our own.

“For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.”

— John 1:17

So What Now?

God didn't leave us hopeless in our imperfection. He loved us so much that He became human — Jesus Christ. He lived among us, felt our struggles, and faced temptations, yet He never sinned. He didn’t lose His temper when wronged. He didn’t hate when hated. Instead, He showed love. He showed us what it meant to truly live.

“The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

— John 1:14

Jesus' Mission on Earth

While on earth, Jesus taught, healed, delivered, and corrected. He showed us the heart of God — and yet, the religious leaders of His time rejected Him. They didn’t recognize that the God they claimed to serve was standing right before them. And so, they chose to crucify Him.

“He came to that which was His own, but His own did not receive Him.”

— John 1:11

Jesus’ Sacrifice

Despite being innocent, Jesus willingly took the punishment for our sins. He endured the torture and death we deserve, not because He had to, but because He loves us.

“He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed.”

— 1 Peter 2:24

Victory Over Death

But here’s the miracle: Jesus didn’t stay dead. On the third day, He rose again, defeating death, hell, and the grave. His resurrection proves that He is the Son of God, and that through Him, we can have eternal life.

“But the angel said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.’”

— Matthew 28:5-6

The Price is Paid

Jesus paid the price for our sins. And because of His sacrifice, the way to eternal life is open to anyone who believes in Him.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

— Romans 6:23

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

— John 3:16

Evidence of His Resurrection

You might still be skeptical. But more than 500 people saw Jesus alive after His resurrection. His victory over death wasn’t just a story — it’s a well-documented event.

“After that, He appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep.”

— 1 Corinthians 15:6

The Invitation

So, what’s the next step? Believe. Believe that God loves you enough to save you. Turn away from your past mistakes, choose a new life, and follow Jesus.

“Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow Me.’”

— Matthew 16:24

If that’s not the greatest love story ever told, then I don’t know what is.

- XOXO,
God's Girl

“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

Romans 10:9-10
